On November 12, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at La Fabrique, the film club will present the screening of Goutte d'Or (2022), directed by Clément Cogitore.
This drama follows Ramsès, a 35-year-old man who runs a fortune-telling business in La Goutte d'Or, a neighborhood in Paris. A master manipulator, Ramsès thrives on a trade of consolation. However, the arrival of children from the streets of Tangier disrupts this balance, disturbing both his daily life and that of the neighborhood. The film delves into a disturbing reality, where Ramsès, faced with an out-of-control situation, comes face to face with a true vision.
The screening will be followed by a discussion on the themes explored in the film.
